Past campaigns and projects from 2023

In December 2023, the new website of Regentropfen e.V. was created, which is now also optimized for end devices and adapts to the respective size of mobile devices. Taking over the numerous projects from the past would have meant an immense amount of additional time, so we decided to start the archive anew from 2023.

Warm welcome on February 28, 2024 at the Sirisangabo School

Thanks to the support of the organization "Main-Kinzig-Kreis hilft Beruwela" and the generous donation by Mr. Franz, we were able to have the entrance area of the Sirisangabo school straightened within a very short time.

Naturally, we were delighted when Mr. Eyerkaufer, former District Administrator of Beruwela, along with his wife and other friends registered to visit the school.

On February 28, the time had come. The delegation from Germany received a very warm welcome. The school had prepared a small program with a reception, speeches and a dance performance by the children. After a tour of the school, there were further gifts, such as school utensils, cleaning and cleaning materials. Many thanks for this to Mr. Thomas Vehring. These wonderful hours ended with a small tasting.

Excursion of the Sirisangabo Special School to Colombo
November 2023

Exhausting but very nice - that was the unanimous opinion of all the children, parents and teachers. They all really enjoyed the trip to the capital of Sri Lanka. A hired bus took them to Colombo at 6 o'clock in the morning. The program included the airport, the zoo, the harbour and the beach with a view of Galle Fort and the skyline.

Happy Children's Day
October 2023

Sri Lanka celebrates World Children's Day on October 1st. Children's Day focuses on the rights of children and their well-being, and so this day is also celebrated every year at Sirisangabo Special School.

A special highlight: the children show their rehearsed dances, the teachers as well as some mothers are also on stage and make this day a very special experience.
